A guided tour with Dr Heidy Zimmermann

The foundation was established in 1973 by the Basel conductor and patron Paul Sacher, initially with the aim of preserving his own manuscript collections and musical library. The foundation is now one of the most important international research institutions for music of the 20th and 21st centuries. Its holdings include numerous estates and collections of composers and performers such as Igor Stravinsky, Béla Bartók, Anton Weber, György Ligeti and many others, which it makes accessible to international researchers.

Dr Heidy Zimmermann has been a research associate and curator at the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel since 2002.

The guided tour will be held in German and is free of charge. Please send your registration by 16.6. to orah@migwan.ch
